We’d like to remind you that hurricane season has begun, running from June 1 through November 30. During this period, it’s important that we are all prepared.

When Are Operations Suspended?

When the National Weather Service issues an alert placing Puerto Rico under a tropical storm or hurricane watch or warning, all new business operations will automatically be suspended, and no new insurance coverages can be issued.

This occurs specifically when our island falls within the following area:

• Latitude: between 12°N and 22°N
• Longitude: between 57°W and 70°W

Important: This suspension takes effect automatically, without additional notification from us.

Recommendations to Stay Prepared

We strongly recommend that you:

• Stay informed about any weather disturbances that could affect our island.
• Review your insurance policies with us to ensure your coverages and limits are up to date.
• Keep your emergency contact information handy.
